Course content:

This course will prepare you for work in a range of careers in the Health and Social Care sector. You will study a variety of topics related to health and/or social care.

To include:

• Working to quality care practice
• Working with service users in care practice
• Behavioral awareness in care
• Applied practical care skills
• Behavioral psychology in health, social care and early years

Duration:

1 year

Entry Requirements:

Four GCSEs at grade C or above including English or a relevant intermediate course at Merit. An interview and reference will also be required.

Assessment:

You will be continually assessed through assignments.

Progression:

Students can progress into careers in the health and social care field and a variety of HE courses including nursing and social work .
