In London, the historic past meets the vibrant present. A blend of history, ground-breaking architecture and culture has created an amazing and constantly evolving city. This vibrant metropolis embraces the diverse cultures of its population, reflected through cuisine, shops, music and colourful festivals.

London is a very accessible city; it has five international airports, an efficient road network and extensive Underground, train, bus, and taxi services.

There is something to appeal to everyone. With countless museums, galleries and entertainment options throughout the city there has never been a better time to come and find out just how much it has to offer.

London’s famous parks and generous green spaces provide the perfect opportunity for walks, relaxation or sporting activities. From major department stores to designer boutiques and street markets, London is a shopaholics dream come true. A large number of restaurants, pubs, cinemas, theatres and nightclubs, and live music and comedy venues offer myriad dining and entertainment options for visitors to choose from.

The Tower of London
At The Tower of London, guarded by the famous Beefeaters, visitors can see Traitor's Gate, the priceless Crown Jewels and the famous ravens. It is closed from 24th –26th of December and on the 1st of January, every year.

Tower Bridge
Experience one of the most famous bridges in the world, which provides spectacular views from the high level walkways, 140 feet above the Thames. In the two towers, there is an exhibition, which explains the history of Tower Bridge. It's closed from the 24th – 26th of December and on the 1st and 27th of January every year

 
Buckingham Palace
The Palace is open to the public from the 6th of August until the 1st of October every year. Visitors may tour the State Rooms, including the Throne Room, Picture Gallery and State Dining Room. These principal rooms, which form the backdrop to the pageantry of court ceremonial and official entertaining, occupy the west front overlooking the garden. All are opulently decorated with some of the finest pictures, tapestries and works of art from the Royal Collection. There is no access to the private apartments.
 
British Museum
An encyclopaedic collection of ancient civilisations, which span the world from Greece and Rome to Syria and Iran. Highlights include the Egyptian mummies and a burial ship from the locations Ages. Tourists will require a few days at least, if they wish to explore the museum and discover its treasure spread over 3 km of corridors.
 
The London Eye
The London Eye is the world’s highest observation wheel and offers passengers amazing views of our capital city. The Eye takes guests on a 30 minute ‘flight’ rising 450 feet above the river Thames, in high tech fully enclosed capsules.
Tate Modern
Britain’s new national museum of modern contemporary art. Housed in the former Bankside Power Station, Tate Modern displays an international collection of modern art from 1900 to the present day.
