The primary objective of The Association of Business Executives (ABE), which was established in 1973 is the promotion and advancement of efficient administration and management in industry, commerce and the public service. To this end, the Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma study programmes of the Association have been designed to ensure the following: that students achieve a broad-based understanding of all aspects of business and administration along with the acquisition of the relevant academic and professional skills; and that students direct their study pathway along one of the ABE's specialist options. |

| ABE Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas are currently acceptable to various universities in the UK as entry qualifications to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The Diploma provides entry to degree programmes at Year 2 or 3, whilst the Advanced Diploma guarantees entry to a Masters' degree in Business Administration (MBA), which enjoys recognition worldwide as an ideal stepping stone to the attainment of top positions in business. | ||||
