Recognised in 160 countries, with nearly 300,000 members and students. One
of the largest of the UK's accountancy bodies. The qualification covers
all aspects of accountancy, for work in auditing, commerce, industry and
non-profit making organisations.
Registration Entry requirements-(Minimum
age: 18)
Professional Examination Route:
2 GCE "A" Levels + 3 GCSE passes - or equivalents.
3 LCCI Higher Level + 2 Intermediate (5 separate subjects incl. English
and Mathematics)
3 RSA Advanced + 2 Intermediate (5 separate subjects incl. English and
Mathematics)
AAT or CAT Intermediate. (Complete)
Degree from a recognised institution
ACCA Certified Diploma in Accounting & Finance (complete)
Mature Student Route : If over 21yrs and not holding above qualifications.
Registration Dates and deadlines
June exam: register by 31st December of preceding year
December exam: register by 15th August of the same year.
Exemptions
Previous qualifications, generally relating to accountancy & business may
entitle you to exemptions within ACCA Parts 1 and 2. None given for ACCA
